Ideas/Patterns for Quiet Books for Toddlers

I would like to make some bags up for wiggly toddlers at our church. I am looking for ideas/patterns that I can make for this project. I have found a couple of web sites with ideas but thought some of you have maybe done something like this and can give me ideas or more suggestions. Books, web sites, blogspots or whatever would be appreciated! I thought about quiet books made out of felt or fabric of some kind or a small quilt with things on it to keep them busy.

our guild president made one of these and i tried my hand at it too. i used a very busy fabric and that did not work as well as a plainer fabric. the hard part was to get the marble... i had to order them online. https://www.google.com/search?q=marb...w=1017&bih=685

Maybe fidget quilts like the ones made for Alzheimer's sufferers?

My mother made my daughter a cloth activity book (36 years ago). It included a zipper, snaps, buttons, velcro backed removable pieces, and more. I think she found the pattern in a magazine. I do remember that she used a material that was sort of like colored heavy interfacing / synthetic felt which did not hold up as long as the interest in the book lasted. You could make up your own designs for each "thing to do", or maybe someone has a pattern.

"I would like to make some bags up for wiggly toddlers..."
Yes, I admit to a rather warped sense of humor. I can picture the church cloak room, a row of pegs, and a line of open tote bags filled with wiggly toddlers. Their mischievous faces peeking out!
Here's a link with some that I think you really had in mind!

Here is the one I made for a lady for her grand children.
So many more pages which including snaps, clothespins, shape matching, hair braiding. Took a while for one book!

I bought a quiet book for one of my grandchildren last Christmas: Making one looked very intensive and it seemed easier to buy one. Just type "Quiet book" on amazon and there are plenty to choose from.
