Identify antique quilt Ohio 1860's?
3 Attachment(s)
I am trying to identify the pattern of this quilt that has been passed down in my family. It is from Ohio and we believe from the 1860's. Any information on pattern or anything else would be greatly appreciated. Pictures attached. Thanks!

Welcome to this board. Very pretty.

When you find out the information, please make a label and attach it to the back. Also, keep looking for initials of the maker. It is beautifully made.

I'm guessing it is a variation of whig rose.

I agree with Mer1348. It's stunning!!!!

It appears to be a tulip pattern and what looks like yellow in photos was likely a shade of green at one time. I'm wondering if you have a Dutch heritage...looks like a version of tulip wheel.

I can't see the yellow (that use to be green), but it is a variation of a whig rose , with a tuilp substituted for the outside roses (or they are large rose buds). Search the antique patterns for an exact match. Here are some close ones:
