What a cute quilt. You can do it! :) If you have extra fabric & batting you could do a 'test run' to get the hang of outlining the cars. Either way once you get started you'll find it gets easier and is fun to do.

I bet you can do it if you put your mind to it! Don't sweat it, what's the worst that can happen? You might stitch into a car a little, but a Pigma pen will fix that for you. It's much more important to not have bunched up batting in the middle than to see a wrong stitch somewhere. Go for it - you can do it! :thumbup:

It is possible to make little "tacks" by stitching a narrow width zigzag stitch several times in one spot. Look for places in the fabric design where a similar color thread tack will not be noticed. It will hold the "sandwich" together and still not be noticed. Match the bobbin thread to the back of the quilt fabric.
