I would love to do anything by Judy Neimeyer. I really, really want to do her Mariners compass quilt. I have the pattern and some of the fabric for it. Now to just get the time. Life and sleep interfere with my quilting. My nieces and nephews and kids keep having babies and I have to make baby quilts. I also have several quilts to make for customers. Hopefully after Christmas. I also would love to do something by Jacqueline De Jonge. Haven't picked a pattern from there yet.
From reading this I also saw Judy Martins -Finger Lakes Log cabin. I guess I will add that to my to do list.
I thought I wanted to make a Dear Jane. I made about 15 blocks and decided it was not for me. I didn't enjoy it at all. I have thought about making my own version of a Dear Jane.. Maybe make a bunch of 4 1/2 inch blocks that I like and put them together like a Dear Jane. Maybe add the triangle blocks from the Dear Jane? Just something floating around in my head.
I will try anything. Just dive in and do it. My first quilt was a paper pieced, Carol Doak star with 64 pieces in each block. You will never know if you can do it if you don't try it.

I'd love to try a Bargello. Some day I'll get to it. Its on my bucket list. The patterns all seem so complicated but beautiful.

That sounds great also. :) A lot, to think about.

Storm at Sea (did recently purchase a kit---first time ever). Hawaiian applique. Baltimore. Appliques likely won't happen though I think they are beautiful. (I have vision and stamina issues now.)

I would do Colourful and a cathedral window that is like a bargello--no pic just saw it in a book and it's in my head. I did the Wedding star so it is off my list. I like Glacier but I like Colourful more. SITP is on my list. As is, Snake River.

I go for the really easy, simple ones, you can tell!

Oh my bucket list is endless. I have decided that I shall live until I am at least 150 years old and that I shall not look at any more photos of quilts or links to patterns on this website (yeah right!!) I have a BOM for a Baltimore block quilt (the first block had 81 pieces!!) and have done 3 of the 12 blocks. I would love to finish that. I also have a Black/batik Baltimore album kit. Fell in love with the colours but just have not had the time.

But the one I really really want to do is a BOM kit that I picked up at a LQS just after I started quilting. It is a combination of machine and hand piecing and continues to scare the stuffing out of me. Goodness knows why. Maybe it is just the size of the project. Here is a link to the pattern called Meme's Sunny Garden. Altho my colourway is burgundy instead of blue. http://nancyodom.biz/578_detail.html
