I think Snake River Log Cabin is a Judy Martin pattern.

I have two Judy Niemeyer patterns, but they scare me to much to even think about them right now. Some day when I'm feeling very brave...

I did make a Baltimore Album quilt which I never thought I would be able to do. Now I would most like to do a Dear Jane but it intimidates me. I think the secret is just take one step at a time. I guess I should say one block at a time.

I want to make a double wedding ring quilt. The piecing is a bit intimidating but the color choices is what scares me. I have seen so many quilts that are beautifully done but the color schemes are ghastly. So, going to wait until I really decide what I want. Realistically, any Dear Jane makes me quake in my boots.

I am working on a Bali Star and another Southwestern that is sewn in strips. The Bali Star is easier, But I'll fight to the death to get this one right

This would be my dream as well - I need to improve my needle turn skills as well - also need lots of time - someday I hope.

ok very good question I might say for one main reason. It gets you thinking, it gets you imagining as soon as you read it you start seeing it in your mind.. and the reason thing here is.. why not do it? if you cant because you don't know how there is surely a class or another quilter who can teach you. just another food for thought. what if we make this our 2014 goal? do something totally out of your box. your scared of.. try it. you can do it you know. if you can sew a straight line you can make curved ones. if you can regular quilt you can paper piece you just might need the educational tools to do this. I say .. go for it.

oh yes mine would be a stained glass quilt. I want to make one, could never keep it in the house cats and cat hair and all but oh yes I would love an illumination quilt of some sort.

I would love to do Glacier Star. I took a class with Judy Neimeyer on her Bali Wedding Star and it is sitting in my WIP pile. I am signed up to take a class with her in Nov to make the Christmas Celebration Tree Skirt. I love her stuff, but I let myself get sidetracked.
