Batting and backings would be my picks.

I would buy things that last , Things like quilting tools. That way I would always have them. If you buy fabric or batting when u use it up its gone and u have nothing to show for your money.

Something outside of the normal purchase you would make.

Since I can get batting at Joann's at half price...which is just like wholesale I think I would stock up on just about every color of thread because I do alot of blanket stitching, 2 new rotary cutters with lots of extra blades, a couple of boxes of steam a seam lite, the $50 little light that can attach to your machine, a couple more pairs of scissors, and with whatever money I had left would go toward 1/3 yard cuts for my stash. Right now I am low on pinks and blacks and always need more 30's. This has been fun...

I'd get a quilt kit for an easy to make Celtic quilt for a grand daughter that is patiently waiting for me to make her one

For me it would be the largest mat they make and batting-I have enough stash to last a couple life times Any thing else can be squeezed into any budget

I would buy a nice sewing machine table so my machine's bed would be level with table. It would include some storage cabinetry and have a hinged table extension in the back.

OK RST, At my age I try VERY hard to resist these temptations. I know that as soon as I give in and make an order there will be another one around the corner. If you have lots of stuff don't be tempted to add to that stash you wonder when you will ever use. I'm learning with the added years I get. LOL
