That's a nice machine. I bought the Rose, which is the machine just under the #1+, back in 1998. It also embroiders and does a wonderful job on both embroidery and stitching. There is a Plus hoop you can use for bigger embroideries. In about 2005 I got a great deal on a Designer 1 and decided against trading Rosie in because she's so great...I've kept her and she still sews beautifully 18 years later.
