Good for you Kelly, did you meet her at retreat? My aunt used to do a lot of whole cloth quilts, she made them in pale shades and different colours on bottom so they were reversible.

Did a hand quilted one several years ago, but it was only a baby size. Still looked good, all white with 4" eyelet lace on the scalloped edge. Great at the baptism.

This woman that marks them is a mennonite woman that has about 20 patterns to choose from. and all are very well priced, the woman that told me about her got her top marked for $25 (you have to buy the material for it to go on but that was fairly well priced as well). Save me the headache and I'll pay to have it marked. Now to just find a day that I can go and pick one out... ok maybe 2 for that price.

I'm a little excited and not a lot of people will get this but on the weekend I found a person that will mark a whole cloth quilt for me. I pick the pattern and the fabrics and she will mark the entire top for me! I'm so excited. It's on my bucket list of things to make. its only a 2 hour drive to get to her place but I'm really excited.
