I would love to get one or two marked also. I would love to get this lady's name and phone number. Where does she live?

They use a washable pencil to draw out the entire top so when you are finished quilting it you would just wash it and then they would all be gone.

Good for you Kelly, did you meet her at retreat? My aunt used to do a lot of whole cloth quilts, she made them in pale shades and different colours on bottom so they were reversible.

Hi, i'm still fairly new at quilting and I don;t understand what this whole cloth marking is. Explain- thanks!

Great idea! I have never thought about marking a whole quilt myself!

Did a hand quilted one several years ago, but it was only a baby size. Still looked good, all white with 4" eyelet lace on the scalloped edge. Great at the baptism.

Save me the headache and I'll pay to have it marked. Now to just find a day that I can go and pick one out... ok maybe 2 for that price.

I believe this is a very good price. I have marked several quilt tops in my time and just do no like doing it.

It's on my bucket list of things to make. its only a 2 hour drive to get to her place but I'm really excited.

Just needed to share that with you ladies.

If you are getting such a deal, you must go fabric shopping while in her town......
