Well, I'm basically shy and get crowd anxiety. Then I've heard lots of horror stories about the quilt police at quilds. Then recently there was a quilt show in town. It was fantastic and I talked to lots of ladies there. It turns out that they seem pretty great and I've committed to join. I even know 2 of the members pretty well from my church.
So I got the opening social fabric sheet and I"m going to be there. I had to change my work schedule around so I wouldn't be working the whole night before the meeting which would make it less fun. Here is the fabric I've chosen and the pattern we are going to do. Wish me luck on stepping out of my comfort zone! |
