Oh my gosh that is too funny.
I am afraid I would have been more at home in the F150 than your other two mentioned vehicles. I used to drive a 25 ' Penske w/ trailer around like it was nothing. Have driven vehicles hauling trailers for over 30 years w/ narry a problem. I agree, ain't nothing ladylike about haulling yourself up into one. Oh my. |
That's a great story and thanks for sharing.

Good to know you weren't stuck there, but sorry it put a potential damper on the trip. Like everyone else said, you'll not forget this adventure any time soon.

This story gave me a good chuckle! My daily drive is a Ford F350, 4 door dually. I think it takes a certain kinda woman to appreciate a truck. Yes, it is long, but now that we put a lift on the back for DH's scooter, (he's disabled) it's even longer. I'm always afraid someone is going to take it out in a parking lot. Normally I try to take 2 parking spaces because of the length. Plus with the fenders, it's extra wide. Sometimes I miss my old jeep to get around in but...that's life. I wouldn't give up my truck for anything.
