Couple weeks ago, after finishing my last project, I decided to clean my sewing machine. I took the throat plate off, removed the bobbin dealie, cleaned in, around, & underneath. Went to put it all back together & could not find the bobbin-thing. My husband & searched everywhere, even the garbage--3 times!

Still baffled I put everything away. Until today. Determined to solve the mystery I searched again. Take a look at what I found.

Loved to see your post today. I feel so much better...I was worrying about my mental process.............I did the exact same thing! Couldn't find my bobbin case. Looking for the silver front loader...........FINALLY found the black top loader.

When I do stuff like that I just blame the ghost. He won't care and most of the time he did do it.

A couple of weeks ago my DH went to warm something in the microwave (around suppertime) and found the cream cheese.

You guess it? I had a Vita Top muffin with cream cheese for breakfast before work and put the cream cheese in the microwave instead of the fridge!

So I am not alone. Been there done that and sadly more than once. The last time I moved the cat thinking he took it. Poor guy was so confused when he didn't get petted enough after being woke up. My hubby says 'and where is your sign?'

I feel much better now knowing that I am not the only one.

I do tons of hand quilting and so sometimes "lose" my thimble. Then I go to rub my tired eyes and almost knock my eyes out of my head with the thimble still on my finger!!!!!!!!!! Embarrassing!!

oh dear, I'm pleased to see I'm not the only one who does things like that.
