Yes indeed still looking for my prescription sun glasses.MIA for 2 months.
Last night lost my reading glasses this morning found them on the floor.
Lost my debit card May 6. Thursday called the bank after retracing my steps, calling all my normal stores no luck. So I canceled it. Takes 7 to 10 days to replace. You guessed it day later found it at my sewing machine in a jacket.

I taught college for 22 years. One day, ready to begin class, I couldn't find my glasses. Pulled everything out of my (large) bag complaining all the while. Finally a timid voice from the back row said "Mrs. D they're on top of your head."

Not surprised - I've done that kind of thing many times. Now you need to take it out and clean behind it, too!

Glad you found it and I also do stuff like that with other things , but not the sewing machine.

Isn't that frustrating? Been there done that. Glad you found it.

That is a very important part of the machine to misplace. I'm glad you found it. Just a hint, when I need to take peice off my machine to clean it out I put the peices in a flat dish that sits on my cutting table right next to lamp and the table my machine sits on. I misplace things all the time so when there are notions (seam ripper, hem guide, tracing wheel, ect) I put them in the dish till I no longer need them and put them in their proper storage place. Keeps everything from getting mixed up in whatever sewing project I have going at the time.

Just went back and re-read your post a little closer. That is funny, are you saying you found it in it's proper place?
