Just to let you all know I got the part for my machine (a bobbin holder) anyways put it in and although it is better its not right think the timing is off so took it in to the repairers yesterday and he said about a week, after me talking in my best Spanish he finally started speaking in English to me  so that was good, try saying micromatraje (timing) with your teeth in. I only need it now for my embroidery on the label.

So I am cool for the moment.

Good job Colletta!

Oh, definitely excited! This is my first round robin and I couldn't sleep without thinking about it until it was done. So it was self-preservation to finish it. :?

That's not good that it had to go to sewing machine hospital!
Hope you get it fixed and back home soon!
Do you have a spare to use while it's being worked on?

Just take a piece of fabric and you can put a small design on it with

International Round Robin Quilt 2008-2009
Then put....Center Square completed by (insert your name)
Then leave room for the others to put their names on it.

Does this help you any?
I'd show you mine, but I haven't done it as of yet.

LOL - you sound like my son the other day on the bus (the school called me) "You show me yours and I'll show you mine...."

Thanks, Terri, for the label suggestions. I saw a picture of someone else's, too. I don't have an embroidery machine and am just trying to think of a way to make it really pretty and special. Maybe I'll pick on a friend who does have an embroidery machine.

Yes Terri, I have my trusty ole machine that just keeps going. I counted up its 35 years young. Its much harder to sew with after the Rolls Royce but it does a good job, just not the embroidery that I so want at the moment. He said 1 week, but heh this is Spain and its Manaņa, manaņa so could end up being longer as long as I get it back working I am happy.

Calico, have you thought about printing your label from the selection on the web onto fabric sheets.

If you need suggestions on how to, let me know.
