i don't really have another color inmind, really, I didn't want to the border to over shadow the center but I didn't cut the original center square big enough so I had to do a border :oops: ! I had thought a blue to match the bluebird, but that seemed too bold and with all hte colors in the center, i didn't want matching colors to touch. So, I chose white :-) . I even thought about black which would have made everything pop, what do you think about black?

I love your idea of blue, but the cats tail wouldn't work with black. And the way you have it is great too.
