I make donated baby quilts and I'm getting tired of doing the same ole square quilts... Anyone know of any baby quilt patterns that I can make in hours instead of days?? I'd prefer ones that are finished in 2-4 hrs, that are Super easy patterns that can use fabric from the stash pile..

Any suggestions (and or links) would be most appreciated...

Kaye Wood has the 6 hour quilt. If you look at the picture, you will be able to figure it out the pattern.

Sue - I just looked at that quilt and it would be perfect as a "quilt as you go" quilt!

This one uses charm packs but could just as easily be made with scraps.

And if you have large pieces of fabric this one is fast and easy.

I like to make a small Trip Around the World in 5" flannel squares and use fleece for the backing--no batting. Super quick and cuddly!

Another one I like to make is Bille Lauder's, "There's a Dog on my Quilt." There used to be directions on HGTV's web-site. The pattern is also available for purchase from http://www.easymade.com

D9P, 4 into 9 and 4 patch posies are also simple & quick. 4 patch alternated with fussy cut squares and the good old fashioned single Irish Chain are all easily done in a weekend.
