I can't even buy FQ, I have fear what will I do with it? Is there enough? what will go with it. So i buy at lease 1 yard. Then I second guess myself on that, what if or do I need more. So lately I have made myself buy only 1/2 yards. Is there hope for me. I still have not used the 1/2 yards.
|
I always buy a yard I'm so scared I will not have enough for my project.
|
We do have Jack Daniels down here (TGFT) and that's definitely worth a try!
I might find the solution to why I keep FQs for years, but still won't cut them for a quilt in case I need them in the future. LOL. |

Well see, I do that, buy a FQ or more likely several that go together, and then put them with my other FQs so neat and pretty, all arranged and grouped, and then go cut my older scraps and yardages. It seems that FQs are for collecting, not actually making things out of - why, you'd have to CUT one to make something from it!! What's that all about eh.
I'm like that big floppy dumb dog character in, I think, one of the Bugs Bunny cartoons, or maybe it was Baby Huey: when someone asks me what I'm going to do with all those squares of fabric, I say "I'm going to squeeze them, and pat them, and call them George." |
Send me all your FQ's, I love to cut fabrics. I promise I will be gentle. Evil laugh!!!!!
|
My fat quarters are my babies, I love them. I can easily cut into yardage, but cut into my FQ's, NEVER!!!! If I had to choose between them and my husband, weeeelllll, um, the jurys still out on that one, ha, ha.
