I won a bid on ebay for a featherweight last week. She arrived on Wed 11-24-10. She is beautiful. The foot pedal doesn't work, but I knew there was something wrong with her when I was bidding. Seller said that the light worked but it wouldn't sew. I used the foot pedal from my other FW and my new baby works fine. Price was right. She was commissioned March 1950. Will post pictures soon. Congratulations on your winning bid. I think ebay can become addictive.

Same here. I couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about. Then I started doing research and looking at them and knew I had to have one.


You're right about that. Now I'm trying to convince myself that I need a white FW. LOL
