I watched the white FWs for several days after I won that bid. They always go way beyond what I can pay. I will keep watching!!!!

I have been dropping major hints about the FW to my hubby and our son, it would make a great Christmas present. Maybe one of these years they will surprise me. Happy you got one, don't forget to name her.

ROFLOL! I think you outbid me today! I bid on five FW and lost all five auctions! I'm going to keep trying though. I have been bitten by the featherweight bug!

Could be. There are lots of nice ones on there right now. I've been trying for a week. Just kept going through my list and looking for newly listed. Don't give up.

Okay these posts are making me curious. Why get a FW?Is it to just start a collection of sewing machines or do you use them? Why are they so special?

ROFL - That sounds exactly like the question I asked about a year ago. Better be careful. If you hang around here long enough you too could end up with a FW.

I didn't think I'd ever need one. Then the other day when I had my machine set up for FMQ and wanted to sew it dawned on me that a featherweight might come in handy. Also, the only place I have to lay out my quilts is in the basement bedroom. I figured if I had a FW I could piece it right there instead of trying to get everything back to the sewing machine in the correct order. Also, they're just so darned cute.
