I also have the 6600 and I love the machine except for the fact that it not always pulls the bobbin thread up when I do the needle up down.I thought it was because I was using invisible thread on top but it does it when it feels like it! I then have to open the bobbin up and rethread. I have tried having needle up and that doesn't always help. Anyone else have this problem? Dee

I have the same machine, but never had that problem. Thats strange. I have a different problem. Every time I use the automatic thread cutter, my needle comes unthreaded! Drives me insane. Do you have that problem? I wonder if its a tension problem?
I keep all kinds of those small strips when I'm cutting fabric and keep it in a jar just for that. Every time I start and stop sewing there's the little strip of fabric under the needle. It also saves thread that way and you don't get any jamming, etc. |
I keep a place for pins on both sides of my machine so that regardless of whethere I pull them out with my left or right hand the pin cushion is right there,
As to the lights the LED lightso that stick up under your harp are invaluable and really easy to set up. Watson |
