l purchased the 6700 P and already had to order a new threading part....mine worked for a little while...that has been my biggest complaint...other than that I love the machine, mine came with an extention table and lots of feet etc..and it was under $2000...good luck with your purchase...

All I can say is that you can't go wrong with a Janome machine. While I don't have those in question, I do have the 6500P, the 1600P, and an older one made by New Home Harmony for Sears many years ago. I wouldn't give any of them up.

I have the Janome6600,that is a workhorse. The 11:000@se uis a sewing and embroidering machine combo, and the small QDC lightweight I take to class and retreats. I. wouldn’t trade then for anything
