JoAnn's mailers and coupons?

I haven't received any mailers or coupons from JoAnn's for Feb or March. I wonder if they have stopped - is anyone still getting them?

Stitchnripper 02-26-2014 10:23 AM

I got one recently.

oneteappot 02-26-2014 10:24 AM

I had one for in Feb. and thru the first week in march.

dakotamaid 02-26-2014 10:45 AM

If you go 6 months and don't use them they stop. At least that is what happened with me. I had to go in and resign up for coupons on their website.

sewmary 02-26-2014 10:53 AM

You can also get coupons online or through their app on phone or tablet.

evelyn5269 02-26-2014 11:07 AM

if you go an entire month or maybe 2 without having the address label scanned you are off the list. I have been twice and forgot my flier. She told me I probably would have to re-sign up again. It is ok. We got a fabulous new quilt shop and love it.

I get them all the time, as far as the email coupons, I don't get the regular flyers because I very, very seldom get to anywhere a JoAnn's is, the closest one is 100 miles, 1 way.

Skratchie 02-26-2014 11:45 AM

I'm still getting mine, but as someone else said, if you don't use the coupons, they stop sending them after a period of time.

pw6 02-26-2014 11:48 AM

I receive one of mine, but the other one does not come anymore, but I really don't mind to much as their quility has fallen so much and the prices have gone thru the roof. I really hate to go in there anymore. such a pity as they use to have great fabrics. even the older fabric's is coming back with bad quality now..

toverly 02-26-2014 12:19 PM

You can not only get them online and in the Sunday papers (sometimes). You can sign your husband up too and receive double mailings.

nygal 02-26-2014 12:21 PM

I got duplicates in the mail yesterday. I signed my husband up awhile ago so I'd get more than one!

MadQuilter 02-26-2014 12:22 PM

I just got mine the other day.

Zinda 02-26-2014 12:30 PM

I like the online ones better. Stores are few and far between.

cynicalbeauty 02-26-2014 01:00 PM

When I go to JoAnn's the cashier will occasionally rescan the address on my mailer so that i keep getting coupons in the mail.

tessagin 02-26-2014 01:01 PM

I got one maybe week ago?

jbj137 02-26-2014 01:56 PM

thanks I use mine all the time and have them scanned. Maybe one will show up. Will definitely sign my dh also.

NJ Quilter 02-26-2014 02:10 PM

It took years, but I finally do get them now both snail and email. Emails I get at least daily. Sometimes multiples/day. Got my snail mail coupon today!

caroloto 02-26-2014 02:23 PM

If you have used your coupons or had your address scanned in Dec you should be getting them. I wasn't getting mine or other quilting catalogs or what the postal office considers junk mail for awhile but I'm sure it was the postman which I believe is still happening off and on, well I positive. I'm thinking of signing up for the email with coupons since mine are a maybe I will get them?

ragquilter 02-26-2014 02:48 PM

I got a mailer today with bunches of coupons, but I never get the flyer. I haven't been in a JoAnn's in at least 2 years. And they are addressed to me not occupant.

QUILTNMO 02-26-2014 03:49 PM

im getting mine!!

ILoveToQuilt 02-26-2014 03:58 PM

Mine are coming just fine.

Anita

coopah 02-26-2014 04:53 PM

I just got mine today. Feb. 26

Jackie Spencer 02-26-2014 07:26 PM

The closest Joanns to me is over an hour away. About the only time I go is when I need Floss, but I still get their coupons in the mail all the time, just got some the other day.

Evie 02-26-2014 08:52 PM

I got one today, and I haven't bought anything from Joanns is ages!

citruscountyquilter 02-27-2014 04:26 AM

I am getting them but others are right. If you don't get them scanned at the store they will put you off the mailing. I'm not sure if the ones I get through e-mails are the same way but I still get them and haven't used one of those recently. I like the coupons on my phone app best and I can always look at the sale flyer on line if I need to.

paoberle 02-27-2014 04:30 AM

I get emails at least 3 or 4 times a week. If you do not use them or have your mailer scanned every couple of months they take you off their list. Just sign up again.

MamaHen 02-27-2014 04:35 AM

I have been getting them almost every day also.

kuntryquilter 02-27-2014 05:18 AM

I was told by a store employee not to sign up to get coupons on line, because I would no longer receive them in the mail.

sewnsewsue 02-27-2014 05:22 AM

Go to joann.com/coupon before you go to store for coupons. Check it often, there aRe often free shipping codes with no minimum order or shipping for less than the price of a stamp. I often find half price sales on notions that Are not in my store. Sometimes Best press is 1/2 off, zippers are half off, little cutting mats by Omnigrid for just a few bucks, sets of rulers Cheap! I paid $11.99 for a 6 X 12, a 4 X 8, and a 1 X 6. I do tiny quilts so these were great for me. I am amazed at the things available that are not in my local store.
I have also missed a mailer or two. Once I contacted Joann's and they verified they were mailed and suggested that I check with my post office. Good luck. You can print coupons everyday from the address I posted.

I get both; I don't believe that what the employee said was true. In fact, I get coupons by email, in the snail mail and on my phone, both in text and in the app. I get lots of Joann's coupons, which comes in really handy for Kona cottons!

madamepurl 02-27-2014 06:02 AM

I had to re-sign up around New Years, but it was odd, because I had used my coupons and a gal at the register had scanned my label all through the fall. I'm back to getting my coupons. I need to sign up my husband.

Rose Marie 02-27-2014 06:25 AM

I used to get them but have moved and no Joanns near me. I don't like coupons anyway and would much rather get lower prices. It was a hassel when I did get them and had to get scanned before they stopped sending them.

I got one very recently.

PenniF 02-27-2014 06:48 AM

Has happened to me several times in the past, even tho i use just about every coupon that comes - but when i emailed them about it they said that you have to be sure to get the checker to scan your address code on the mailer....that way they know that YOU are using them. The checkers will often say that it isn't necessary - but get them to do it anyway. Haven't had a disruption in my mailer since i started doing that.

That's happened to me, too. You may have to fill out another card at the store or online. If you did not use the coupons on the mailer or have the checkout clerk scan the bar code on the mailer whether you bought anything or not, you fall off the mailing list. It's too expensive to mail flyers to people who aren't coming into the store. However, it is also possible that there was a computer glitch that wiped you off the list. Next time you are in JoAnn, fill out a new card. froggyintexas

mirish2 02-27-2014 07:32 AM

Sometimes substitute mail carriers are not careful with the flyers. I've sometimes received more than one, the others were for people a couple of blocks away. The reverse has also been true. Now that we know, we just call each other or drop the flyer off for the other person.

roserips 02-27-2014 07:51 AM

To receive the mailers you have to take yours in regularly and get it scanned otherwise they drop you from the list. So go in sign up again and make sure to take your mailer in to get it scanned. I live to far away from the store to bother with it. So every now and then I check their web site and can print off any coupons I want.

fmhall2 02-27-2014 07:58 AM

I got a card yesterday with about 6 or 7 coupons on it.

JoAnn's Mailers

Hi, Ruby go to JoAnn's website and register online also when you visit your local JoAnne get the cashier to sign you up also. If you have iPhone you can download the JoAnn App. When you receive mailers, postcards, or what ever you have to take it to local JoAnn store and have the cashier scan the mailing label barcode this will keep you updated in their system. This has happened to many people when I'm standing inline at my local JoAnn the cashier always close the sale with are you getting our coupons and sometime the person says "I use to not anymore". Start online and then follow-up with the store visit filling out the address mailing card.
