I got the same info at our Joann's ... they haven't restocked the new fats yet - but they will be priced at $1.99

Hopefully they WILL be better quality and cuts ? ... otherwise we'd all do better to buy them from the LQS :)

I have a LQS that has FQ on sale every Monday for $1.50. To far a trip to do it very often, only when I have a new project.

Good luck Alu. Although I don't like Joannes' quality of fabric I could definitely spend a few paychecks there for other items. Rulers, cutting equipment etc. I went there yesterday to see if they carried any decent muslin as I had a coupon in hand. I left without the muslin:< I was not impressed. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised as I don't buy their regular quilting fabric, either. I did get some pins, so I didn't leave empty handed.

I'm just about to leave for there! I hope i get the job and I hope to know today... shall post more when I get back from there...and again, thank you!!!

This is what the gals who work at my Joanns are saying. They should have the problem fixed in a few weeks, or so they hope. With the way everything is going, it may take a bit longer. :roll:

Yep, that is what the manager told me on Saturday. She said they have the FQ's in back, she just hadn't had the time to stock them...and there will be a raise in price. :-(
