Does anyone have this frame kit or know someone who has it?

This has been discussed several times. You can use the search feature to check. Here are a couple:

From what I have read over the years, most people have difficulty with the system. A few master it and love it, but it's not for everyone.

I tried it at the Lancaster Quilt show several years ago at his booth and it was fun. There is definitely a bit of a learning curve to using it. I finally bought an older model that was new in the box at a quilter's garage sale but haven't tried it yet. John Flynn has an excellent video on setting it up linked to his website. Well worth a look.

I bought one and used it for a long time. I almost gave up trying to use it but stuck with it and it became easy and fun. There is learning curve, like riding a bike, one day it just worked and I thought so this is how it's done. I think to many people expect to be able to quilt like a pro right out of the box. It's best for side to side simple quilting patterns. I never could do detailed quilting with it.
