This board and all of you are my BFF :P . I have learned so much and do enjoy reading everything. And I've found out that there is no one right way to do anything. It's whatever works for you!

How marvelous you said the one thing that really hit me. We are not only on our way with the quilting, but also with our lives. That is what living is all about. Blessings!

The journey, that's exactly what I refer to it as when people are working on a project. Take your time, &, enjoy the journey. It's not a race, & not even a competition, really. This is suppose to be fun, something we do for us, no matter where the finished quilt ends up. This I do for me, & my soul. Any preferences & how we all choose to accomplish this, is any individuals own choice. It is all about the journey, so trust your instincts, & or, the knowledge you gather, & make sure you enjoy it! I have to agree with the one who started this topic, all in all, it's pretty cool, so enjoy!

That's the wonderful thing about doing "artsy" stuff! Whatever you want to do is perfectly all right! Love it!

I agree and have learned so much already. Thank you everyone.

I am on two other boards, but I don't look forward to them like I do this one. Now I've got to figure out how to get off them. Yes, sewing/quilting is a journey and aren't you glad it's different for each of us. That's how I learn. What you like/do may not be what I like/do, but it's makes me more creative to think out side my box.

I love how you put that and totally agree with it. We're all on a journey and that's what it's all about. Enjoy!

It's true that some things work for one person and not for another. I think sometimes we are looking for confirmation that what we THINK will work will actually work. And other times, we don't have a clue how to do something and need input from several people who have done it.
