This is the sew n vac. That I order dies from as do ummm several Santa helpers in y family for me : ) |
I have the Acuquilt Go cutter and dies, got it last year for my birthday. I don't use it as much as I would like, but when I finished the WIP's and UFO's, I have a project for 2 1/2 strips for a grand daughter's quilt in mind. I have to watch more u tube on this one. I guess I am afraid to ruin fabric with stretching. Are there any hints to make the strips? I have read online that the strips have a tendency to stretch. Is this a fact?

I have GO and have used it considerably. Yes, mfg recommends max at 6 layers, but I only do 4 at a time. If you try to cut too many you will get drag and then distortion and variance of size. Better to do less layers accurately...still faster than rotary cutting.........JMHO
