The link I gave you shows the threader as one of the features.
Therefore, you should have it ... sewing machines don't come with options, like we have to choose, when buying a car.

I know how to check my Bernina but no others. I found out that info on YouTube. They stated on the video that it was the tecnichians screen. In my opinion there would have to be one with these computerized machines.

Thank you. I just figured it out for my Elna Expressive 900. I held down the thread cutter button and the presser foot lifter button while I powered the machine on. It shows a read out of hours powered on and in 'drive.' I would assume this would be the same way to check the Janome 12000....as they are virtually the same machine.

P.S. Almost the same process as my above post, works on the Janome 9900. I held the thread cutter button and the needle up/down button while I powered the machine on. The readout was the same....power and drive. I am not sure what they mean by drive. I would guess that means the embroidery mechanism.

I could be wrong...but I believe power is the time the machine was turned on, and drive is the time it spent stitching. It's basically so that when you turn it in for repair under warranty, the techs can tell if you've used it "professionally", and voided your warranty.

Yes, it's in the preference pages. All my machines have a stitch counter.
