Thought I'd pass this along cause I just learned something the hard way!! :evil:
When you finish a quilt top & don't plan on quilting it cause you haven't found the right backing or whatever the reason.
Pin the name of it on a post it & pin it.
I made a magazine pattern & don't remember the name!!
Now I have to look at a bunch of magazines to find it!!! :cry:

Never do that again!! :oops: :oops:

On the other hand.....you get to look at a lotta magazines!!!! :D

Something else to add:

the size of the top so you don't need to measure it again.

Take a picture of it...someone here would have to know it!

Post a picture here and someone will know the answer to your guestion. Might even remember the magazine! These people here are Wonderful! :lol:

Great tip. I do that a lot. You know, put off the quilting or backing til later.

Usually I put the name of the quilt on the picture.
But I was just so happy to finish it. :roll:
