Thought I'd pass this along cause I just learned something the hard way!!
When you finish a quilt top & don't plan on quilting it cause you haven't found the right backing or whatever the reason.
Pin the name of it on a post it & pin it.
I made a magazine pattern & don't remember the name!!
Now I have to look at a bunch of magazines to find it!!!

Never do that again!!

    Something else to add:

the size of the top so you don't need to measure it again.

Here's the picture I had posted a while ago.
Usually I put the name of the quilt on the picture.
But I was just so happy to finish it.

Does anyone remember seeing this in one of your magazines??
    And what the name was???

Been there and done that also.

I also learned that you better make the binding to have it ready when you do get it quilted. Otherwise, you end up having to search for something suitable because what you used in the quilt is long gone both in your stash and in the stores.

Measuring & having the binding rolled & ready is also a great idea!
    Good tips.
    I looked through 50+ magazines & couldn't find it.
So I decided to call it Seeing Stars.
So don't tell the quilting police.
