I also agree and have dropped the subscriptions to the 2 magazines I was getting. I just didn't feel they were as helpful as this site is.

I have learned so very much on here. I was absolutely a beginner and now I know lots more than I will ever use. Thanks to all of you.

I totally agree. When I found this board I gave up my subscriptions and only buy when really necessary. The folks on this board are the most sharing people I have ever met.

I also have not been renewing my magazines. Same old stuff, just different material. And when you like a pattern it is copywrited, so who cares to make it. I'm really happy with this board and all the ladies on it. I don't always comment but I really enjoy reading the posts.

I agree with everything said. Very talented quilters and very generous with advice and encouragement. That's what kept me coming as a reader for so long and then finally joining the group.
