This is also my daily visit on the steps with a cup of coffee--except no one sits on the steps anymore. When DH and I were newlyweds and lived in base housing, the guys went off to work in the morning, the moms got the kids off to school, then grabbed up their coffee cup and headed to the steps of the one who was first getting out there.....such a memory trip this morning. I love it. Thank you one and all, QB.

Ditto, ditto, ditto to all the wonderful, positive things said about this board. I usually lurk quietly in the shadows each day getting my "quilt fix" and occasionally I comment, but I am ALWAYS here daily. Thank you all for being such a great group!

Coffee and the QB digest is how I start my day, I just got it back today:). Love this board.

I also don't get my morning e-mail any more. I did ask a question as to why and I was told to go to help. I know that I can get to the board another way so I just did that. When I turned on my computer this afternoon there was my e-mail notice. When I saw it I felt like I was coming home. You all are super and I would really miss you all if I didn't have this board to come home to. There is no way that I can tell you all what the help and friendship from this board means to me. I am so thrilled to hear the same sentiment from so many! I love the story about "sitting on the steps" we were in Boston once and it was so cute to see all the ladies gather in the "alley" or street from all the apartments above the store fronts and drink coffee (or whatever) and chat up a storm. I think we would all be better for a bit of this old fashioned communication.............in the meantime there is Quilting Board!

I missed a week of e-mails and life isn't the same without the daily fix.
