I gifted one of my first quilts. I gave it to a 17 yr. old boy we have know all his life. He is in foster care and comes to my home when he visit is nanny. Him and my son are the same age. I did not expect the reaction he had when i got home from work and he had already opened his gift from us. He just grab me and gave me the biggest hug. All he could say is this took a really all time to make and that he will cherish it. It just made me all :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D on the inside. The label I even gifted to him.

That is Awesome! That quilt will last forever and longer in his heart!

Its nice to hear that there are still kids out there that appriciate people and the things they do for them. Not all children these days are as lucky as that young man. Sounds like even though his had a troubled life he understands what real love really is. Hugs to you both.
