I have to share this...I placed an order with Keepsake Quilting. Before my order was shipped, one of my items went on sale. I received my order and a refund for the difference in the price!!! I will certainly order from them again.

amma 02-09-2011 08:48 PM

This is awesome! What a great way to run a business and keep happy customers :D:D:D

mmonohon 02-09-2011 08:50 PM

I love it when you can still find companies that actually provide "customer service".

I will definately add them to my list.

sueisallaboutquilts 02-09-2011 09:10 PM

That's great. How long did it take you to get your order. I have placed an order with them and waiting anxiously (but apparently not to patiently) for it.

Thanks,

I too am amazed at th service from Keepsake Quilting. I put in my first order and hadn't heard anything so phoned to confirm that they had recieved my money order. Not only did they recieve it but had already sent out part of my order with the rest to follow at no extra mailing charges. The surprise??? My math was wrong..I owe them money...I told the nice lady that I would get it in the mail ASAP and she said no...to put it in on my next order....now how trusting is that!!! They will get my buisness for sure.....

Aw, great to hear. I love KQ too!

May in Jersey 02-10-2011 05:06 AM

I like Keepsake too. I've ordered from them a few times and wondered if they still gift wrapped your order for free. I know at the store they tied your bag with a strip of fabric. Haven't been there in awhile and will keep a trip there in mind for this summer. May in Jersey

dforesee 02-10-2011 11:09 AM

I love ordering from Keepsake. They nearly always add a free fat quarter to my order.

Navy Wife 02-10-2011 11:20 AM

I ordered from them about 3 weeks ago. My kit was on Back order and expected late Feb. Yesterday I got another message. It was a listing of all the backorders with what was missing, when expected and why the delay. I've always had great service from them. In store is just as nice. They are so helpful and yet leave you alone to look and make decisions. I love the table for stacking fabrics with bean bag on top. Too many times I've had to go back and look for something that had been put away too soon!

GGrammie 02-11-2011 02:51 AM

I love going to Keepsake Quilting. I go a couple of times a year. Have to make a day of it. My heart is all in a flutter when I get near the place. I try to go on a sunny day, as hubby sits outside on the porch and reads or chat with other husband. I get lost in there. If they have a sale, and they are all out of what you need or want they will mail it to you at no charge for mailing.

I will be going soon, but need to wait for better weather here in northeast...Soon I hope

karenpatrick 02-11-2011 04:28 AM

I buy from Nancys Notions a lot. Not fabric though. Just notions. they stick in a free needle with every order. I'd rather have a fat quarter. The only time I order fabric by mail is special cuts like jelly rolls and layer cakes. I have to look at it and feel it before I buy it.

I have order many times from Keepsake and particapated in their challeges and have been very happy with their service. One Christmas my husband ordered 100 fat quarter pkgs and gave him excellent advise so I was happy with all my fabrics.

Good for you And KQ! I love their catalogs and would love to visit their store!

nannya54 02-11-2011 06:45 AM

I recently placed an order with them for a 1 yard piece then decided what I really needed was another 1/2 yard. I sent them an email and, viola!, the 1.5 yards came in one piece. They are so very good to their customers. Excellent quality and customer service!

Sophie2 02-11-2011 06:45 AM

I love getting orders from them. So neatly packaged and prompt. I am considering joining their Gold Club. Does anyone belong and do you think it is worth the money? I like the fact they now have free shipping to members.

nhlady52 02-11-2011 07:00 AM

Yes I love them to. Was just there yesterday and you really have to make sure you have the time to look around. They have to be the best quilt shop that I have been in. Very friendly and the best natured bunch to spend some time with. They really need to be on your bucket list. Only live about 6 miles away but just need the time to look around. They have so much to look at.

tntgranny 02-11-2011 07:08 AM

They are a great company! Their kits always are generous with fabric (increasing my stash - yeah!). If I have any problems they are very prompt in resolving them. I order from them frequently. Another sight that is great is Connecting Threads.

ShirlinAZ 02-11-2011 07:29 AM

Awesome! I haven't ordered from them in several years, but I will.

jackifaller 02-11-2011 08:10 AM

Keepsake Quilting has always met or excelled my expectations! Their prices are good and the quality is wonderful!!

grannypat7925 02-11-2011 08:18 AM

Wonderful company to deal with. They give generous cuts also. Another is Fabric Depot. Just placed my first order with them and they called me to tell me that two of my choices were sold out and they wouldn't be getting anymore. I thought that was very thoughtful! So far I have not been disappointed dealing with the online companies.

michelehuston 02-11-2011 08:19 AM

I have had only a good expierence with them! They keep in contact with you about the process until you receive your items!! :D

They are an awesome site. I would dearly love to visit, but being in California, it is a long way away to the north east. I love their medleys.............actually I love everything about this company. They sent me a bobbin holder (wasn't charged for it) that was not part of my order, called them, and they said to please keep it and did they get the rest of my order correct. They are one of the first places I go to order..........and their catalog they send is so much fun to browse through. Here is their website for anyone:

They are a great company as is Missouri Star Quilt.

greenini 02-11-2011 11:20 AM

I have bought from them tho not in a while. They are also very good on returns. I had bought an edge for my long ruler when I first started quilting thinking I'd cut my finger off. After at least a year, I realized I was ok and returned it to them! It was still in package, but still.

When we went there they had the most darling quilt up. It was a bunch of husbands sitting on bench in the sun. My dh thought it was very apt, and we both thought it was pretty funny.

Dolphyngyrl 02-11-2011 01:01 PM

It took a couple weeks for mine, i saw it for cheaper somewhere so they gave me free shipping

kittykatz2001 02-11-2011 01:12 PM

I always drool over their catalogs.

GrammaBabs 02-11-2011 03:33 PM

they are on CAPE COD!!!! pretty near me.....:)

morethani'lleveruse 02-11-2011 03:42 PM

I live about 30 minutes away. They do have great service--- high prices, over 13,000 bolts of fabric...but working there is VERY different. 40% off employee discount-the only plus- it's like a labor camp to work there tho.

I order from them all the time. Nothing free here. I have entered their challeng not even a comment when they sent it back.

liese 02-11-2011 05:21 PM

I have been to their store in New Hampshire and it certainly is a place you could spend hours! The customer service is awesome -- always someone there to help you with any questions you may have!
