Don't order often because they're way over-priced. Have never had a problem though when I did.

soleegirl 02-12-2011 10:18 AM

Never had a problem.

klgreene 02-12-2011 10:58 AM

I've never had a problem but they do take a long time to get to me. But usually comes exactly as I ordered it.

penski 02-12-2011 11:50 AM

i have never had a problem

And they were waiting for inventory to be delivered and they were delayed due to the snow.

I would cut them a little slack. Their area is not used to or equipped for snow. Just my 2 cents worth.

i work for estes express lines (truckingco) and i know that area is having a really hard time weather wise.. some things most people never think of affect deliveries.

like how high the snowbanks are on the sides of the roads & in parking lots.... a lot of places we used to get into with a 53' trailer are down to 45' or 28' trailer, because we can't get in or turn around... that means a lot less deliveries on every trailer, and we don't have extra drivers sitting on a bench like bellboys waiting to go out....

add that to the power issues, and it all equal delays

that being said, i love keepsake, and have never had a problem with them. one time they shipped me the wrong fabric.. 2 yd cut. i called them, they were anxious to correct the issue. i asked if they would send me ppd postage to return the wrong fabric.. they told me to keep it with their apologies.. can't argue with that kind of customer service

MerryQuilter 02-12-2011 01:33 PM

Never had a problem excellent service.

Crazy Quiltin Robin 02-12-2011 01:57 PM

I have ordered from them for years and never had a problem with them .... may be a mail thing!!!!!!

Rabbit 02-12-2011 03:17 PM

I ordered some charms a while back. Took a month to get them. I just held on to my email receipt til I got them.

RuthV 02-12-2011 03:19 PM

I have ordered from them and never had any problems. Once though I had ordered a batik for a backing and they were out of stock.
As for jrhboxers comment about not being equiped for snow, don't know where she is getting that info from. They are in upstate NH almost to Canadian border. If they aren't equipped for snow I don't know who would be.

vwquilting 02-12-2011 03:42 PM

I order from them all the ime I am waiting for an order now. /the snow may be delaying them, They are reputable. I place lots of orders with them.

p38flygirl 02-12-2011 03:43 PM

It could be the weather thing..UPS is way behind on shipping..I have sent 2 pks recently by 2 day select and they did not arrive on time...They don't believe in shipping thru rain, shine, sleet, or snow...They close...
I have never had shipping problems with the store..

IBQUILTIN 02-12-2011 04:27 PM

I've never had a problem with thwm. Give it a little bit of time, I would call or email. They will make it right whatever the problem

Joanie2 02-12-2011 04:31 PM

I just received an order from them. I thought they were very timely. No complaints from me.

Marysewfun 02-12-2011 04:47 PM

I think anything on the Mid to East side of the continent require an extra helping of patience from us this year. :-)

I order from them and never had a problem-- remember they had tons of snow and perhaps the store was closed

Candy Apple Quilts 02-12-2011 04:56 PM

I've always had great service from them. Other orders I've placed lately have been taking a REALLY long time to get here, and that's through USPS and Fed Ex. This crazy snow has everything behind. Today I received an invitation to an event that was held yesterday --- and the envelope was mailed over a week ago from the next city over!

quilter1943 02-12-2011 05:08 PM

I tried to place my order again tonight and it went right through. I really think that area has had a lot of weather problems.

MadQuilter 02-12-2011 05:15 PM

Never had a problem. I particularly like their fabrics because their catalog represents the colors EXACTLY.

quilter1943 02-12-2011 05:18 PM

Agree with that 100%. I've had problems from some of the other web sites and catalogs.

When i ordered from them, i got quick response to an email, and great customer service

desertrose 02-12-2011 05:34 PM

I just placed an order before the big blizzards hit New England and my order was 1 day later than expected. I would make 1 more phone call and ask to speak to the owner, if there was some kind of problem she will definately get to the bottom of it and resolve the issue.

I've dealt with them regularly since the 80's and they stand behind their products. They even say if you aren't satisfied for ANY reason they will refund your money. Give it one more try.

rob529 02-12-2011 05:44 PM

Curious, did you seem to get any help from them on the phone? I was thinking it might be a weather thing also. I can't recall where they are located but you definitely should've gotten some degree of satisfaction when you have spoke to them on the phone.

Keepsake Quilting is located in New Hampshire right off Lake Winnepeesaukee. They are so used to snow, ice and all that Old Man Winter brings with it. My mom lives nearby and said they've had both snow and ice recently. Cut them some slack for weather delays of both inventory and their ability to ship as promptly as we would like the fabrics or whatever to appear.

Quiltylady 02-12-2011 06:37 PM

I have ordered several times with them and have always got my order in a timely fashion. Sometimes I am amazed at how quickly I have gotten it.

Renee110 02-12-2011 06:45 PM

Give it time. My order left 10 days ago. UPS sent me a notice that it was delayed again until Monday, which will make it 12 days.

mouseface 02-12-2011 07:38 PM

ive never had a problem ive ordered from them lots good service

fivepaws 02-12-2011 08:14 PM

Never a problem here.

galvestonangel 02-12-2011 08:27 PM

I've never had a problem with them. I'm sure the snow is having an affect on them. The closer you are to the store the faster UPS will deliver.

grammysharon 02-12-2011 08:41 PM

I have ordered several times and their service has been great

Rose Bagwell 02-12-2011 09:02 PM

Perhaps the bad weather, they have had is the culprit. I ordere from them some time back and both time I had good service.

Becca Bear 02-12-2011 09:03 PM

I have ordered several times from them and have never had a problem.

Those gals are nice, and try to do their best for
their customers. This time of year the weather in Center Harbor can really be wicked bad, with power outages, because the lines are down, deep snowdrifts blocking the roads....they are way out in the boonies!
Please, call again, its probably just an unlucky fluke!

nlgh 02-12-2011 09:21 PM

I've not had a problem with Keepsake and I've ordered a couple times recently.

kamaiarigby 02-12-2011 09:28 PM

I have ordered from them a number of times, I also have been to their shop, which is like being in heaven, VBG, the staff are great

I have never had a problem with Keepsake Quilting. Usually my order comes within a week or so.

Wunder-Mar 02-13-2011 08:17 AM

Keepsake Quilting is THE STAR of customer service - I swear I receive an order before I've even placed it.

It is most definitely the weather - they've been socked bad in New Hampshire. I am certain it's not a matter of FILLING the order but their shipping services being crippled temporarily.

I order from them at least six times a year, and have been using them as my #1 Go To online Quilt Shop since 1992. They will always get my business and I can't say ENOUGH wonderful things about them, their service and their having helped me out of many project jams with their fast excellent service.

johnette 02-13-2011 09:54 AM

I emailed them 12 days ago about a problem with a kit I purchased. The only response I've had was the automated email that they recieved my email.

Lady Diana 02-13-2011 10:28 AM

They are located in New Hampshire.
They are still under several feet of snow....I'm sure their deliveries are back on track...but they should be answering their phones by now....All commercial transportation was on hold for about two weeks....some getting through, others, not.
We only had 4 inches of snow and 1 inch of ice in Texas...the mailman did not show up for two days!

I've never had a problem with KQ. Try giving them a call to see what's holding up your order.
