Martina, maybe it was a little cough......that just sounded like a klunk. I recently had a little metal rod come out of my 1/4" foot and fall into my bobin area. Did I panic and scream? Well, yes....but, the "doctor" at the LQS took off the plate and tweezered out that little puppy. Long story short, the E.R. visit wasn't as painful as it could have been. Hope yours ends up as well.

I'm actually planning to put on the white coat, mask and rubber gloves tonite and see if I can give her a deklunking enema. lol.

You are right....klunk is never a good sign. Any clue what the piece of metal is from. Hope it's and easy and cheap repair.

Maybe that small piece of metal is a baby sewing machine and it just needs to go into an incubator to grow into an adult!!!

LOL Mary - Martina I hope your machine is OK!

PrettyKitty 06-10-2009 03:38 AM

Don't feed it after midnight or get it wet!

Sorry, am laughing at myself so much!

I hope you can get it fixed soon. I'd be lost if my machine broke.

So...has the Dr. been able to see the patient yet?

DR Mad  disassembled all there was to be disassembled. I gave it a THOROUGH cleaning and inspection. Noticed that the shuttle was missing part of its little hook (so that explains the metal piece). I'll get a new shuttle and see if that was the problem. Wouldn't it be nice if it were that easy? (Big sigh).
