i intensely dislike mettler threads.

before mettler, i had no opinion on thread really and didn't know it could matter so much.

at least i learned something eh? ha!

I didnt take a picture either and didn't think to call the company. I just cut out the knot and finished the spool. I will have to think a little deeper next time.q

how is the thread on your machine, horizontal or vertical? i found if horizontal that i sometimes use the wrong plastic "end cap" that holds the thread onto the spool thingy. perhaps it's something like this. very simple to rectify.
