Has anyone tried Connecting Threads' solids, blenders or batiks yet?

I would also like to know if possible since I;m looking for a reasonable price. Thanks, Rosalie

I used an off white Kona, 90 inches wide for the backing of my last quilt and I thought that it really made my quilt feel heavy. I'm not sure if I would use it again for backing. Did anyone else have this experience?

I use it for my custom embroidery quilt labels. Also, I did a 30's quilt with it. You won't be sorry. Get a good brand though. JoAnn's is not that good.

I love the Kona solids, but I don't think I'd ever use it for a backing. You're right, it's a bit heavy. Also it can't be combined with just any other fabric. Some other fabrics are too delicate or rather light weight for it. It does have its place though. And I find it very pleasing to use.

I have used the Kona white many times and like it very much. I especially like the way it crunches up and gives that antique look after machine washing. You can't go wrong for that price! I think it usually goes for around $5.95/yard in LQS.

I am using the Kona white (not the snow colour-tried that and it wasn't white enough for the 30's prints) for a 30's sunbonnet sue quilt and I like it, nice and thick, and the price is great too.
