I am making a quilt for my dgd and the quilt is reversable. Where would you put the label? Should I put it at the top where it will be tucked under pillows or at the bottom. I am also making a large pillow sham. Could I put the label on that?

I would label the quilt itself.
Maybe make the label more decorative, since the quilt is reversible :D:D:D |
I just saw a video on reverisble binding and she embroidered her info on the binding so that she didn't have to cover up any part of the quilt. I thought that was so cool.

i have actually quilted the label- as in used the machine and stitched what i wanted to say as part of the quilting design-
ive seen people use pigma pens and write all the way around the perimeter on the binding- i've seen people write words in blocks and made the label kind of a 'treasure hunt' to put it together- probably depends on how much information you want to include-where & how it will be best. |
I also saw the video of labeling the binding. I thought that was a really cool idea..I have not labeled any of my quilts yet. My hubby keeps telling me I should

I've used an embroidered block as part of the quilt design on the top of these quilts. They both have minkee backing.

As suggested above - embroidery in a block.
