Labyrinth walk quilt help Please

I decided to make the Labyrinth walk quilt and ordered and received the pattern but the quilt is only 84x84, is there anyway to make the quilt bigger as in a king size.

I can't see ( I may have missed it) were it tells how big each block is when done, does anyone know how big the finished blocks are?

Also I was wondering if I could just make another row of blocks on the top and sides of the quilt to make it bigger, do you think this would work and look ok? I really don't want to put more boarders on it as I think it wouldn't look right.

I hope someone that has made this quilt could help with the size of the finished block and how to make the quilt a king size. Thanks so much..

I have not made the particular pattern, but I have added extra blocks many times to get the size I wanted. I say go for it.

...or if you can contact the designer, may have a good solution for you.

The quilt is 84" x 84", and king beds are 76" x 80" (Cal king is 72" x 84"). So the top (and most visible part) of the mattress would essentially be covered by the quilt. You could put large borders as the overhang and I think it would look fine, especially if they were a dark tone-on-tone fabric. Dark or black borders would just recede into the background and allow the focus to remain on the center of the quilt.

Normally my answer would be to add more rows, but in the case of this quilt, I think you would lose the symmetry of the maze.

Here are two that were made larger by adding more blocks. I think they look great. You could add another column as well as another row to make it wider as well as longer.

I've made this quilt three times now, it consists of two different blocks. ( I think they are 16" blocks but I'm traveling right now & cant check to be sure) you can easily either make more blocks to increase the size or you can add wider borders. Either way works out great.

Thank you Dunster, it helps me so much to see a picture, and thanks to all the other ladies for your help. I think for sure I will make it 4 down to make it longer but I will have to see how the blocks fit across the top.I don't want any of the blocks to hang over the side, it may not looks as good. Again thank you everyone..

I made mine queen sized by making the outer borders 10". The blocks are 20"

The pattern is basically 2 different blocks. Just do extra blocks to make it bigger.

When I made mine to fit the king size I just increased borders and it came out fine 96 x97. I did not have any problems with the pattern, I think they have "fixed" the pattern. You had sent me a message on it.
