That price is great! I love Laurel Burch fabrics. I did a quilt from the Jungle fabric. It was very nice feeling. I'm sure you'd be pleased!

She was diagnosed with a bone disease when she was only 7 years old. Her bones would just break and she was in pain all her life. It believe that she died a little over 2 years ago and I believe that she was 57 years old. So young.

I just bought several yards (14) of the Dancing Horses Fabric of hers. It just became available in Dec 09. I love her work and still havent decided what to do with it.

Laurel Burch was certainly a great talent and one of a kind. A local quilt shop owner said that her husband and son were going to try to keep the line going.

That's a great deal for Laurel Burch fat quarters - especially if they are older prints. The Dancing Horses line came out recently and the fat quarters run about $3 each at the LQS here. The older prints tend to sell for much more. What a great find! |
