I prefer the one on the right if picking from just thos 2. I would think a solid or mottled batik would go well.
|
Glad you decided on a solid.Busy borders would take away the beautiful work on your quilt.......
|
I prefer the bottom border as the colors and scale of the background seem to compliment the body of the quilt better. Your star blocks are inspiring.
|
I would go with a solid also. too much competition with the florals. I sure like your quilt though

I totally agree with Prism99.

I would try more of a solid or marbled color - more like the background fabrics - so the border doesn't compete with the center of the quilt.

I like the one on the bottom..looks like some of the same in the quilt.

I would go with a solid or blender.
It is beautiful. |
I agree with Prism99, the florals are competing with the blocks, a solid or blender would be my suggestion. I've been using more solids/blenders on my borders of late and then adding a fancier border quilting pattern to spice them up. Even using a matching colored thread they stand out on their own.

The bottom one. Or, use blue like the square centers of the sashing.
