I think both are too busy and detract from your quilt, but if I had to pick one, I would pick the one on the right.

LIke the idea of solid , maybe one of the blues ,but it is your quilt.

I would try more of a solid or marbled color - more like the background fabrics - so the border doesn't compete with the center of the quilt.

First, how awful that the Hancock's is closing. One of ours closed, so we were left with Joann's and quilting shops. Fortunately a Hobby Lobby opened that is a 25 minute drive (I think it's worth the drive.). On your 2nd grouping with less busy fabric, I like the watercolor blue at the bottom. It makes the blues in your quilt pop. My 2nd choice would be the yellow/green at the top. It brings out the yellow/greens in the quilt. Look at each piece of fabric with the quilt by itself and see which color you would rather bring out.

I like the one on the bottom as it brings out the yellows. Aren't you glad you asked???

I'd go with the blue on the right. It looks kind of mottled, and brings out the colors in your top. Perhaps use one of those florals--or both!-- for the backing......
Whatever you decide, make yourself happy! |

I like the 1 on the right side of the picture. Love how it highlights the pink in your quilt top.

I like the blue on the left, the one that matches best with the posts in your sashing. I think using that color again really ties it all together.

I would use more of a marbled or solid also. All the fabric is beautiful but I think a solid would show case the quilt.
