I hate being told what to do. That's how one of my quilts is named "You can't put orange with that"..of course there's plenty of orange in it. |
The quilt police I DON'T listen to - those who criticize my color choice.
The quilt police I DO listen to (I'm one of them) - the ones who say it DOES matter if corners don't meet or triangle points are chopped off. The ones who say that hand quilting SHOULD be even and that appliqued pieces should NOT have stitches so far apart that each one makes a little point...OK I'm on my soapbox now! |
I look at the quilt police as helpers. If I have messed up, I want to know. They can always do it in a kind way, make suggestions, not criticize. If I don't like their suggestions I can always do it the way I want to... good or bad, it is my choice.

When is the ocean shores quit show? I didn't know they had one, and would like to attend. Thanks, Vivian
