I vote for the gold and brown..It adds to the multi colors u have used..I LOVE scrape quilts..I also do hand quits with them...But all scrape quilts. In my opinion need solid or close solid borders to pull it all together, Great quilt

Gets my vote, as well. |
I'm no help 'cause I vote for no border. Beautiful quilt.

Hmmm... I like that brick border but that is me. Whatever combo you choose will make this quilt a stunner.
Are the small squares 1.5"? I have thousands of them from swaps and after I finish Perkiomen Daydreams (circa Bonnie H) I will need to decide what to do with the rest. I look forward to seeing your finished quilt. |
I personally like the narrow yellow border and then the red fabric with dots, although the inner border on the last picture is very unique and could work too. Nice work on the quilt, it's a great scrappy quilt.

I like the brick border with plain brown, the brick brings our the wonderful colors in the quilt.

Gold inner border, dark brown outer border...
WOW! Gorgeous top! |
A Hard Choice. No 2.
|
The dark brown with gold inner border, especially picture #4. Great piecing!

I prefer the fourth border choice, not the brown Batik dot. Do you have enough of that brown for binding too? I think your stripe might be a bit too much pattern to go with your very scrappy top.

This quilt is beautiful. I've never done anything this large, but this makes me want to one. I do like the gold fabric. I think whatever colors you want to bring out from the quilt is what you'd want to use. I'd love to see this after the border is done. Good luck.

I like the gold paisley with the maroon polka dots.

The first one.

My favorite is the second to last photo. It really pulls the quilt together!
