Hello to All of You. My sister told me I must join in so here I am.
She posted a pic of the 1st quilt I made for here birthday a few years ago. (few is more than two)
I have found my new hobby. Quilting !! The most expensive hobby I have done and I am on disability so you know I am not making much $. I have made more than 35 quilts in the past few years. Many I gave to friends and family. I actually sold one recently. Wow that was nice.
I will l post some pics tomorrow or so. I need to become familiar with this site so I know what l am doing.
But for now HELLO TO ALL :lol:

Welcome from west Tennessee! I lived in Colorado Springs from '04 to '09 and if I hadn't married the devil it would have been a wonderful place. Can't blame Colorado though, he was from Utah. lol It won't take you long to get used to the site, it's pretty easy to use. You can also gain lots of tips from quilters on here about how to save on your quilting costs. I like to recycle clothes from a local thrift shop, wonderful source of fabric. I understand the budget restrictions, my son and my only income is his SS right now, unless I sell a quilt or cover a chair, which happens occasionally. Enjoy the board!
