I have one I use that is foundation piecing Log cabin variations its a lot of fun.

I like the quilt in a day Courthouse Steps book. I love the different layouts you can get with the courthouse step block.

It is called JAMAICA, and it is from Blanche Young's book"Traditions with a Twist"...Did more un-sewing on this than any other........36 different strip sets.....picture does not do the colors justice. They are all batiks, including the black......It really was a fun one to put together..........If you have not seen her book, and you like strip piecing, you should get it........colors they choose in the book are not the best to show off the designs, but the designs are really different and easy to do. |
