It's almost like meditating. I don't measure, just cut my strips as I go to square it up. So far, no problems with block sizes. They are taking me about 15 minutes per 7" block, but I'm pressing as I sew.

I'd say the log cabin quilt is my favorite looking quilt, but not really my favorite block to piece. I hope I'm making sense. Usually it's the opposite for me (love to piece the blocks but get bored by the time the blocks get put into a quilt).

So, maybe you will love the part of seeing it come to life once the blocks are displayed together.
