I have been looking the internet for a quilt pattern for this star and haven't found any. So I'm asking if any of you have seen this pattern or have done a 5 pointed Lone Star Quilt? I have been reading this QB for about a yr. now, and we have alot of QuiltSmart People here. Seems if there is a question asked, someone knows the answer or where to get it. Thanks in advance..

Quilt Blocks Galore has a small one, which you can enlarge. about in the middle of the blocks. Also the EQ 7 has 5 and 6 point stars.

Of course whatever your mother grew up with is "right" to her. In Barbara Brackman's encyclopedia of pieced quilt patterns, I found a 5 pointed star with some resemblance to what I call a Lone Star or Star of Bethlehem.

Can you please post a picture of this quilt? I will know if it is the quilt pattern I'm looking for once I see it. Thanks, Motley.
