The sad thing is his wife passed away in June of 75 and only used the machine a few times. He never parted with it until now.

I had one very similar and now my daughter is using it. I still have my mother's older model but something is broken and the dealer said they could no longer get the part. He offered to take it off my hands for free and then he would use it for parts. NOT....

He goes to my church. I have known him for 6 years now. Last November I was talking to him about how I liked older sewing machines and would like to have one some day. Well he went back to Florida for the winter. Beautiful, it is brand new as she didn't use it that much. I would oil it up before trying to use it. I'm sure all the oil and grease it had is gone now. Lucky you.
