Looking for greens

Due to a fall in October while walking the dog, I've spent time in the ER twice, and have been sitting with an ice bag behind my lower back for weeks. Not a comfortable chair in the house that I can sit in for longer than 30 minutes either so not much sewing and or housework is getting done. Still...realizing that it could be another 6 or 8 weeks before being comfortable again, I'm wanting to collect quarter or half yafd of many multiple greens to make a quilt for my own bedroom (thinking 2 1/2 squares, triangles. Most places require a full yard cut. Can you tell me where to look for pretty greens in the cuts I desire?

Linda, I'm so sorry for what you're going through- bummer!

Jordan Fabrics or Missouri Star? I really don't have a good answer. Feel better soon!

Lots of Etsy sellers will sell a quarter yard or fat quarter. Some also have free shipping with a minimum purchase. You may also find fat quarter bundles.

Lunn Fabrics on Etsy has a great collection of 1/2 yard cuts and fat quarter cuts. I’ve bought from her a couple of times. Great batiks. Fat Quarter has bundles of fat quarters. Also a great place.

I agree with Etsy. I recently needed some fat quarters of various solids and found all the fabrics I needed on Etsy at a reasonable price.

try occasionally popping in to Equilter. In the Precuts section they have Scrap packs. I do not see any specific green ones listed currently, but they change up their offerings here and sometimes sell packs of a color family (for example, they have an earthtone/neutral scrap pack currently). When I got some scrap packs in the past, most all were about a quarter yard WOF, maybe less, but certainly enough to do something with.

Buy FQ bundles online, etsy or ebay, or places like Hobby Lobby will do 1/4 yard cuts but you have to go in.
