How about a sandpaper board? Use the squares from linoleum and peel off the sticky back, attach to fine grit sand paper. Almost everyone has some silver, a small bag for jewelry made out of the tarnish resistant fabric.

A flax warmer is the same as the bags filled with rice, or crimped corn, even lavender. They all are used to wrap around something--hands, shoulders etc. that heat (microwave) makes it feel better.

Sewing roll, a roll-up organizer with pockets and/or elastic to hold scissors, rotary cutter, seam ripper, awl, etc, with an attached felt needle case and a pin cushion either on the outside or inside. Or an arm chair caddy
